Oracle of Cataclysm

I cast this bronze figure as a deity for an age that hasn't happened yet—drawing on the iconography of Eastern religious sculpture, the multi-armed presence of Shiva, the totemic stillness of Ganesh, but reimagining that divine form as something oracular, watchful, born out of ruin rather than myth. I wanted the figure to look as though it had risen from the rubble of environmental cataclysm, less a survivor than a new god assembled from what remains. The bronze itself carries that weight: heavy, permanent, cast the way idols have always been cast. It is a rebirth—the suggestion that even after collapse new life emerges.
